Homestead Farm

Located on 15604 Sugarland Road, Poolesville, MD 20837, this is a very large and popular farm. As a result it is extremely crowded and has a more commercial feel.

Besides the pumpkin patches, there is a large orchard where you can pick your own apples. You will not love the crowds, but you will love the absolutely beautiful pumpkins and caramel apples.

The kids will love the rather lengthy hay ride out to the pumpkin patch and the goat walk.  You can buy lunch on premises, but forget about relaxing in the dining area. You will be swatting at bees the whole time.

Hours: 7 days, 9-6. Hayrides are offered on weekends only.
